Withering Wednesday

What a gloomy dreary day it was today. However,

I was able to keep an upbeat tune with an inspiring recipe.

Along with this tasty treat, make yourself a glass of warm chai tea
or my favorite, warm milk. Yumm.

As you cuddle up in your couch or a favorite spot grab a delightful book. I browsed through the new book Over the Bridge: A History of Eastport at Annapolis.

This book shares a great collection of photos shared from locals as it highlights the history of Eastport. After reading this, you will be amazed at how much our little town has changed! Below is a picture in the book of my great-great-grandfather on his pier overlooking Acton Cove and the Naval Academy.

What a perfect way to end a day like this!
